World Class Kitties...!

(Left) Esmerelda (black/white) was being shy for the camera today.... Give her one more day and she'll be doing pirouettes...She's a crazy playful little girl...





(Left) Mimi (orange/white) will be staying with us for a few weeks while his parents are off to North Africa.... As you can see, he's an inquisitive little guy... He's watching Zena (grey tabby), who just arrived this morning with her brother Monkey.... Many people may not be aware that we now offer a pick-up/return service for our customers, at a minimal cost...






(Left) Cleo (dark tabby)... peek-a-boo... I see you...
This is another kitty that isn't a big fan of the camera... She's been coming in for many years now... She's a gorgeous little one..






(Left) There he is... little Moe (black/white), hanging out in the train cars... It is the first visit for him & his brother Shmellow... Both boys are very friendly and send a big 'Hello' to their parents in France.... Bonjour Maman. Bonjour Papa!

Gearing up for another long weekend....

(Left) Saffron (calico) goes home today. She is one gorgeous big kitty. Her trademark, when she's had enough attention, is a hiss that turns into a yawn... It's kinda like, Ok. I'm tired of hissing at you now. Can you just leave please... It's very fun.. She's all bark this girl.. albeit convincing....








(Left) Chloe (grey tabby). What light over yonder hills doth shine!? Oh. It's the sun. I love it when that happens... What cloud over yonder fields doth shadow... Oh, oh. Rains comin! I don't love it so much when that happens... but, at least all the birds come out looking for the worms afterwards... I do like that part.







(Left) Eins(tein) , our dark tabby friend went home on Monday, and he's back in with his brother Chief, again this weekend... They are both very handsome big lads.... always a pleasure having them visit...









(Left) Even though Moe (black/white) already went home with his brother Gunther... I came across this picture of him on the camera. Once again he's piloting the airplane... I hope the old saying ' Where you look, is where you go'... won't apply here.... This is one crazy kitty... I think we'll have to name that corner of the bi wings 'Moe's corner'....

Each and every one... so unique!

(Left) Raja (orange/white) is looking very comfortable... He has now decided that it's much more fun to fly the spaceship, rather than just ride along on the inside, while his sister Millie flies it....





(Left) Silver (grey/white) just went home. It was his first visit with us. He did great. This is one chatty little boy, and very affectionate.






(Left) Sushi (lynx point Siamese) is a very handsome big boy. He's been in a few times so far. We don't get very many Lynx Points in. He has amazing markings and the bluest blue eyes...






(Left) Besha or Bella (Ragdoll)... She goes by either name... was with us last week... and, we're going to see her again in the coming months... This is a little schmooze meister... She has, 'getting affection', down to a science... Very gentle girl!

On a sunny afternoon....

(Left) Here's a better picture of Oscar (black)... in one of his very typical poses.... You've heard of Spider Man... meet Spider Cat! Who else do you know that can scale an 8 foot birdhouse in seconds flat.. then, hang over the side upside down, without hanging on?!







(Left) Chelsea (dark tabby/white) got more and more adventurous as the week went by... Here, she's discovered that the ferris wheel provides a much clearer view of BigBird2... 'All those other cats were right!...'





(Left) Charlie Chaplin (black/white)... I see you! I had to climb a ladder to find you... but I see you now! This little boy loves all things height!







(Left) 'Whew... How long was I out for? I need a real good stretch... Gotta get that circulation going again... Think I'll do some low cardio climbing in the 'carpeted tree forest'.... before lunch... said Coco (dark tabby)...

A perfect mix of New & Familiar faces..

(Left) We recognize all of these furry faces going back many years... On top of the birdhouse we have Coco (dark tabby)... Her brother Oscar (black) is on top of the far left bunkbeds, at the front. To the right of him, is our boy Eins, he's passed out already... On top of the red phone booth is Charlie (Chaplin), the handsome black & white kitty... Then, inside of the phone booth is Dasha (dark tabby/white).. You can't see her sister Bella here, but she is sleeping atop the other red phone booth....

(Left) Here is one of our new friends.. This is Vegabond (white/dark tabby).. He's visiting for the first time with his brother Moustique (grey/white 2 pictures down)... This is one laid back kitty.... and social...





(Left) More new kitty faces.... This is brother Raja (orange/white) and his sister Millie (black/white)... So far, Millie is proving to be the more adventurous one... Raja is just a bit more cautious.. but, both are adorable and friendly..





(Left) Moustique (grey/white) is a big gentle boy... He's a bit shy so far... and quiet.. You never quite know where you'll find him... He's very sweet.. Just like his brother Vegabond...

You've heard of whale watching!!

(Left) Simon (orange/white) had unexpected company.... There he was, sleeping so peacefully in one of his favorite hay bails... When Alberta (black) peered her tiny little face inside his big door... 'Yes. Can I help you?!' Simon said .... 'Nah, you're good... Just wondering what you were doing..' She is a curious one, our Alberta...

(Left) Coco (dark tabby) takes a closer look at our handsome Casey (black/white)... 'Didn't we meet about a year ago...?', she asked him... 'I never forget a face!'.... she said... 'I'd know that cute white mustache anywhere...' Coco. You can be such a little flirt....Big cutie!

(Left) Abraham (dark tabby) give Alberta (black) some of her own medicine.... 'Do you mind?! I was counting mice... backwards.... and naming them.... Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday......' You should try it Ab... It's very relaxing... and a great way to get your appetite whetted...!'

(Left) So many curious kitties.... Our boy Simon (orange/white) is getting a double dose today... Eins(tein) (dark tabby) is back in to visit with his brother Chief.... I guess Simon must be a very interesting little boy.... everyone always wants to know what he's doing...

Another busy weekend in store...

(Left) Here we have a couple of exotic looking kitties.... There is Suzie Q (torti) and her handsome striped friend... They seem very cozy together... I didn't get his name!

(Left) NewK, NewK, are you in here?! Alberta (black) goes in search of her new little sister... she's MIA again... those darn cat toys...! 'We had a date to sit together and plan what we're gonna do when dad returns tomorrow... Should we go straight outside? Check out the yummy treats dad always lays out for us when we get home from Holiday? or Should we tell dad about our vacation? Too many choices!!

(Left) Miloshka (black) and Chloe (grey tabby) are 'all eyes', as the birds sing and dance about in the early morning sunshine... Gunther (dark tabby) is more interested in what his brother Moe is doing, over on the ferris wheel... Just a typical Friday morning...

(Left) 'Well.. Heellllooo There Gorgeous!'... Abraham (dark tabby) was taking a climb through the hay wagon ..... It pays to go slowly... You never know what or who you'll find tucked away in there! In his good fortune, he came across our little Portia (grey)...

Looks like summer... Feels like summer..Why isn't it summer?!

(Left) Zorro (black/white short) looks attentively out the front window.... 'Nope, It's still not summer... I'll try back in half an hour!' I think you have time to take a nap in between checking, big guy.... We're close... but, we're not there yet!







(Left) Casey (black/white medium) is back for another visit... He comes in from the Calabogie area to holiday with us... He's adorable....






(Left) Kayla (calico) is here for her first visit.. She's very laid back and gentle...







(Left) Chief (dark tabby) is back in with his brother Eins(tein) again... While Buster (orange tabby), has been with us a while already...We've known them for years... You can't see it in the picture, but they are both saddled up beside one of our Selenite stones.... which are Oh-so popular... These do a great job of maintaining a peaceful environment for everyone....

Wednesday May 6th, and all is well!

(Left) More black kitties... this one is Edward (his adoptive name) .. or, we can call him Rocky... a name given to him by his new parents because he loves to batt at you while he's playing... I've taken to calling him Eduardo.... Don't ask me why.. It just seems to suit him... He's not too fussy... he'll come to anyone that looks in his direction...

(Left) There's our little 20 year old Misou... lounging comfortably all snuggled into her big cushy cushions.... more of Erin's handiwork... Isn't she cute?!

(Left) Gunther (dark tabby) visits our Aquarium section.... unfortunately, most of the exotics, are on the wall... but, don't worry... They don't bite....!

Gunther has already checked that for us! Too bad for him, they aren't very tasty either...

(Left) There's our boy Miloshka again (black).. Keeping guard in the 'Kitty Condo'.... It says 'No Dogs!'... He's just making sure... He and Gunther have been enjoying playing together this visit... They've met many times over the past few years...

Family & Friends...

(Left) It took me a second to recognize this big cutie... Erin brought her own little girl Elsa Rae, (dark tabby) in for some all-out playtime... Here she sits high upon a snow covered carpet tree... She is growing into such a beauty...




(Left) There's Chloe (grey tabby) again... This is one furry.... or, should I say, fluffy kitty... Her fur is so fine, it's fluff.... She's adorable... We've known her and her dad for years...








(Left) We must not forget Erin's big boy Winston (black)... We've had so many black cats in lately, I had to do a double take when I uploaded the pics... He's going to be a giant kitty when he stops growing.... He's also a very smart kitty.. Erin is forever telling me about the new things that he comes up with to entertain himself while she's either at work or sleeping... Just ask her about the full coke cans!! That will about sum it up!! Like I tell Erin, you have to be impressed by his imagination and sheer determination!

(Left) Is that a little red chair?... No, wait. That's a little NewK wedged underneath a little red chair... and, if you could see the whole picture, you'd see a couple of little mouse toys under there as well... We're going to have to remember to send her dad home with one of these little chairs... She loves to shoot her toys underneath it and then dive, as if in a swimming pool, under it to retrieve her prey... nothing short of hilarious..Remind us to send you home with one of those chairs Dad...

So much company coming today!

Monday's are usually all about kitties being picked-up to go home... but, not this Monday... All but one kitty stays today and a whole bunch are coming to visit.... We'll need to add a bunch more potatoes to the pot for supper tonight!

(Above) Our adorable little friend Ellie (black) is visiting for her last time... She and her mom are finished their posting here and are moving back to the USA following this stay... We wish them both the very best and, you never know, maybe we'll see them again one day... Life can be funny like that sometimes!


(Left) One of our gorgeous new faces is Chelsea (white/dark tabby). It's her first time in.... She's fine with the other cats but can be a bit shy with people... She is coming around... I can actually pet her now.... albeit, for short periods only...





(Left) Django's (orange tabby) face may look a bit funny in this picture... believe me when I say that I took many to get this one.... He was being very goofy rubbing his neck up and down and around the big scratching post.... He's a typical male orange marshmallow boy! Veerrry friendly... Part puppy, I think!







(Left) Yes. Diablo is back in already... He just went home a few short days ago... He's a grey Abysinian.... quite a talker, this lad...Good thing we have so many kitties coming this week.. He'll have lots of friends to talk to!

Hard at play!

(Left) There is Beaker (black/white)... Hard at leisure!! ... Don't overlook her trademark crossed front paws... That's a sure sign that she's done for the day! Nice going BeakieBear!! She and her sister Petrie just went home.... Cuties, cuties, everywhere.....




(Left) Portia (solid grey) hasn't yet realized that she's being studied and observed by the little cutie NewK (white/dark tabby)... Portia is visiting again. She found, what she thought would be, a quiet, unassuming hidey-hole to curl up in for the afternoon.... What she didn't realize was that little NewK has already discovered all of the hide outs... in one short visit...!




(Left) Buster (orange/white tabby)... do we look different upside down big guy?! This is another of our long time, regular kitty friends.... BustieBear is a very handsome little orange marshmallow....

(Left) I know that we seem to post a lot of Moe (black/white) pictures taken on the airplane.... but, this one had to be seen.... check out the larger version... It's too hilarious how he balances himself off the edge of the plane like that.... I call it 'Flying Side Saddle'!

Lots of familiar faces...

(Left) No. That's not a gorgeous black porcelain statue of a cat.... that's a real life, furry Miloshka! It would be hard to tell the difference from a picture though... He is so slender & sleek... and schmoozie!

(Left) Hi Chloe (grey tabby) ! This is one cute kitty... and adaptable.... She was completely laid back and comfortable, just like this, her first 5 minutes at the Pet B&B.... many years ago...Always great to have her in...





(Left) Another of our gorgeous kitties.. this is Trudy (black), or Madam... as her mom oft refers to her.... She can be a touch shy with new people... but, she's been particulary friendly and outgoing this visit... I always love to see the shy ones settle in so well...
