Warmth & Sunshine!

(Left) MoeMoe (black/white).... What are you doing popping your head out the bottom of the airplane like that..? I sure hope that you've got a parachute on little man!

(Left & below) FDR (Siamese) tries to get Gunther to join in to a little kitty fun.... FDR can be pretty persistent..... Gunther gave in... in the end...

(Left) Alberta (black).. or, AliBean... as I call her.... gets a big warm hug from her new little sister NewK (white/dark tabby).... Alberta was kinda sleeping when NewK landed up there with her.... she probably just thought that someone put a nice big fluffy blanket over her to keep her toasty warm....

Kitty-in-a-blanket

Here are a few funny pics of our friend Abraham.. (dark tabby)...

(Left) We see the 'beansie' eyes.... full of beans.. he's got a plan!

(Above) Then... He lies.. very patiently... waiting for just the right moment.... Head sticking out the front.... fluffy tail giving him away... sticking out the back....

Erin, raises the bar.. higher & higher... Just how long can he keep his cool....?

First... Second attempt... No good!
He battles on... rolling inside of his tunnel as he tries to capture the elusive feathered bird (toy)...

Finally....Success!! It doesn't get any sweeter than this!!
I hope it tastes as good as it looks!

Stretching your day to the fullest!

(Left) FDR (Siamese) climbed aboard the very popular spaceship before heading for home..... It was fun having him visit again...

(Above) If there is one cat that can do the 'Chillax' thing... it's our boy Abraham (dark tabby).... stretch, breath & hooollldd....

(Left) Here's our little cutie NewK again.... This time, she was spotted enjoying her breakfast in the back of one of our 'New & Improved' Pet BNB cars... What would be a little Herbie Car, without a personal licence plate!?.... Good thinking Erin... This will make these kitties much easier to track down, should they take one of our little cars out for a spin in the parking lot...

(Left) Mia (calico) shows us that she has a very adventurous side too.... She loves height... and all things schmoozie.... She's not opposed to being a 'ham' for the camera either...

Four girls.... and a Gunther!!

(Left) Petrie (dark tabby) gives a listen to some music in the background... She's always got time for a belly rub though... Just you stop and say Hi to her for more than 3 seconds and she will take full advantage of the situation... Here's a girl that definitely knows what she wants!

(Left) The two sisters Clara (black/white) and Alice (solid black), in the window, go home today... It's nice to see Alice out and about. Both girls are looking forward to spending some time this afternoon in their sunny backyard with Dad...

(Left) Beaker (black/white) has been holding down the 'rocket' fort.... It was her favorite hang out this past weekend... I'm guessing that she'll be twisting, in and out of between our feet, by sometime this afternoon... She can be quite an attention get-ter...

(Left) Gunther (dark tabby) has the spaceship all to himself this morning... He'll probably pop over and visit his brother Moe for a while later on.... Both boys are quite the chatty-bugs.... They always have lots to say....Big cuties!

Happy One Year Anniversary Erin!

I want to start by thanking Erin for all of her wonderful help and friendship over the past year. It was one year ago today that she started working for the Pet B&B. It was a really fun year Erin... lots of shared experiences and much laughter...

(Above Left) Moe (black/white) is back in with his brother Gunther.... Moe is back relaxing in one of his all time favorite spots... The airplane.... even when he was just a wee lad.. he loved the airplane! I think they say that 'flying is in the blood'....

(Left) It's gotta be after 10:30 am in this picture.... Snoozies all around!!
On the top we have our big handsome dark tabby, Abraham (left). The little black cat in the middle is Alberta.... She's been in many times but, this is a first time with her new little sister NewK (white/dark tabby)... Dad has a good sense of humour....named for 'New Kitty'! The white cutie all sprawled out on the lower bunk, is Spartacat... (white with orange)... I've know him many years now... more than 3 children ago...

(Left) Misou (white/calico) is getting older now... She stakes out her favorite pillows for the duration of her visits... She must be close to 20 years old already.... Just a tiny little girl... but she's still got lots of spunk!

(Left) Chief (dark tabby) is in again with his brother Ein(stein)... Here's another kitty that is often found curled up close to one of our big Selenite stones.... He and his brother are gorgeous big boys.... a very telepathic duo.... Chief is one cat that has incredible medical knowledge... We've spoken a few times.... He always leaves me floored by his insights...

It's gonna be a lip-smacking day!

(Left) Frigo (black medium haired). How was your breakfast today big guy? ' This mornings buffet was unusually good... I am still savouring the tastes!'

(Left) Kima (dark tabby). How was your breakfast today? 'I tried a new dish .. I thought it was chicken pate... but, I'm starting to wonder if it wasn't peanut butter.... I seem to be having difficulty un-sticking my tongue now!'

(Left) FDR (siamese). How was your breakast today? 'I think that I overdid it with that third helping... I seem to be having trouble keeping my eyes open now?'

(Left) Ellie (black). How are you doing today? 'I wrote a bunch of letters to my friends telling them about my holiday.... I'm guessing that I licked one too many stamps... Do I look different to you?'

(Left) Bow (orange tabby) and Winnie (black & white) were snapped deep in conversation.... We witnessed Bow stick his tongue out at Winnie... 'HaHa... I got the last few fish treats!'...
Don't worry Winnie... We have an abundant supply of treats that only seems to grow....Absolutely no danger of running out...

Look at that grass! Almost green enough to eat!

(Left) Neils (black/white) & Olaf (dark tabby) are visiting us again... Neils is one of our special needs kitties... He has diabetes. Many cats stay with us who require various medications for pretty much any and every health issue that humans have... often, they are prescibed the same medications.

(Left) Cutie Chloe (grey tabby) is back again too... She's a curious little girl with an affinity for heater grates.... She knows they come out and she has the patience to work away at them until they give in (or up!) .... Anyone visiting us during Chloe's stay will notice the peculiar sight of full paint cans, etc. over top of our floor grates.... She's a smartie!

(Left) Mommy Snowy curled up in one of our townhouses for a nap... I think this pic was taken in the Master Bedroom! She's visiting us with her daughter Ople... (also all white, but doesn't have the black dot on her nose.)

(Left) Clara (black/white) has parked her freshly painted Kitty Cab (Looks great Erin!) .... all that driving is tiring on her eyes... She knows how to recuperate in a hurry! She's in with her sister Alice... You can see Spartacat (white with orange patches) in the backgound... We'll have better pictures of him in days to come...

Grey, white & black...

(Left) Young FDR (Siamese) has gotten so big since we last saw him a few months ago... He has at least doubled in size .... Still a very handsome little boy though.... I think I woke him up in this pic.

(Left) Olivia (grey/white tabby) just went home... She's very calm and gentle.... I'm sure that she has a ton of neighbourhood kitty friends...

(Left) Zaria, are you telling us that you'd like us to turn up the heat a little more?? She's too cute... no matter what she's wearing!

(Left) Ople (white) and George (black) take a morning flight together.... I hope Ople is the pilot.... cause our handsome boy George doesn't seem too concerned with what's out front of the airplane... Good thing Ople has it all under control.... They probably take shifts!

Some mornings you just wake up on the wrong side of the car!

(Left) Abraham (dark tabby) has just awoken and contemplates getting up to use a litter box..... 'Oh, I'm sure gonna pay for this twisted neck breaking position.... I must've tossed alot last night.... This isn't gonna be pretty!'

(Left) You go Frigo!! You give those little fishies their morning workout... This big black kitty visits us often with his sister Rhubarb....

(Left) Syam (Siamese) admires our gorgeous little girl Suzie Q (tortoise shell). Syam, our ladies man, just can't help himself. 'You are just sooo pretty Suzie.... I could sit and look at you for hours!'

(Left) Ooowww! Pins & needles... Pins & needles... Pins & needles..... Oooww! When will I learn.... I think my necks asleep!!!
You'll be alright Abraham... You just need to walk it off a little.... to the boxes and back will do you good!

That weekend was quite the workout!

(Left) Eighteen, Nineteen, twenty...... Erin caught little Rags (Ragdoll) doing his morning sit-up scrunches the other day.... It keeps him in shape for all of the days activities.......

(Left) Oui, Allo. Bonjour. Little Mia (calico) has been stirred awake by a tap at her train car door..... and pops her head out to see who it is.... It's just me little Mia.... checking to see if your accomodations are up to scratch.....

(Left) Our little cutie Spot (white with orange) hangs out in his favorite BigBird1 watching post.... in the top level of the phone booth.... He's a very gentle little guy.... Looks a whole lot like Spartacat who just came in on Saturday...

(Left) Ninety-nine, 100! Oh My God... I'm burnt!! Time for another power nap! Nice work Rags... we knew you could do it!

Bow & Diablo Spar. Too much Easter candy???

These next few pictures were taken earlier this week.... In our wrestling ring... from left, we have Diablo (grey Abysinian).. on the right side of the ring we have Bow (orange tabby)....
(Left) As you can see, it started fairly innocently.... A typical 'Hi. How are you doing?'

(Left) Which progressed into 'Are you calling me lazy????'.... 'cause that sounded like you called me lazy!'

(Left) Which evolved into 'I'm more playful than you are!!.... No. I am!'

(Left) Which turned into ' Let's see who can continue on the longest!'

(Left) Then... 'Wow, I'm starting to get a bit tired! .. 'Are you getting tired?'

(Left) When finally the bell rang... That's it for this round! The refs called it a tie and the 2 boys went into cool down.... 'Meet you after we get cleaned up... We can go for a salmon smoothie with the boys...!'

What is on this Great White Shark's mind?

This was my first conversation with any ocean dwelling species... Whales, in particular are said to hold the Akashic Records in them...kinda like the records of the Universe, past & future... So, I was interested to know this old shark's view point on where we are/they are, as a planet & race...

I had a rather sobering conversation with this very large female Great White Shark. She lives off the coast of South Africa. I asked her if she was having a good day? ' Not. Poaching, fishing. I asked if they were close? 'Sonar, tracking systems, they'll find us, no rest for us'. Why are they hunting you? 'meat, eat us, fin soup'. I asked how old she was? 'Beginning of time'. Explain? 'Before the great wars'. I asked her what she thought of man? 'Repressed. How? 'Stunted emotionally, going to fast - no time to learn from past indescretions'. I asked which particular instances she was referencing? 'War, pollution of the planet floor and sky, love - show no love for life'. Which life? 'Their own'. Explain? 'Running a collision course to each other, there are no limits, no boundaries to the pain that you cause the other. No respect for life will kill you all'.
I asked about the conditions of the oceans? 'Abnormal tides and temperatures, changing ocean floors are killing off plant and mammal life'. Which ones? 'Essential planktons, great coral barriers - reefs, snowy maridas (sounded like this.. she said they were small mammals). I asked how the changing oceans were affecting her species? 'Getting sick, disease from poison, toxins and chemicals'. I asked her what these things were doing to the Great White Sharks? 'Breaking us down, weakening the species, irrepairable damage to reproduction'. I asked about that? 'Weakening the gene line, making us weaker, not stronger'.

I asked her what she worries about? 'The planet dying, the lights go out, darkness everywhere'. What would cause such a thing to happen? 'Great tidal shifts, sun explosion, heated up to explode'. I asked what she thought could possibly cause the sun to explode? 'Infra-red explosion, nukes'. I asked her why she worries about this happening? 'You're not liking the planet at all.'

I asked her what makes her happy? 'New life, re-birth, when I'm gone'. I asked her to explain? 'I'll be glad/happy when I'm gone'. Why? 'The destruction is agonizing to watch and see. It's hard to see the race dessimated'. I asked if she had advice for humans? 'Not right what you are doing to the planet. You are responsible. All living things are counting on you to wake up and stop such destruction.'

I asked her what she dreams about? 'Walking and talking on land. Being free to go anywhere I want without being shot at/poached. Being on sand, rolling and suntanning in the wakes.' I asked if she had anything to ask me or tell me? 'When are you coming to see me? Be kind and make them stop the killing. You are not like the rest. You are one of us'. I asked her what she meant by that? 'You are caring about all life. You feel for all life. You see us as equal.' I asked her if sharks communicate by telepathy. She said 'not really'. I asked her what the other smaller sharks call her? 'Warrior Mother'. I asked if she liked that name? 'Not really, but it suits me!' I asked if she ever killed a human. She said no but that she had hurt one before, but not badly.

I asked her about her health. She said she wasn't bad. She told me she had an upper body infection and some 'soreness from a harpoon attack to back'. She let me Reiki scan her energy bodies. I picked up strong tingling all the way around her, starting from her fin to her tail. She let me Gestalt her (jump into her body essentially). Her whole body was tingly, she had a headache on her right side, there was pressure/weakness along the spine about halfway down, it was localized... I'm guessing that is where the harpoon had hit her. I didn't ask her about it. She also had tightness in both sides of possibly her gill areas, as sharks don't have lungs perse.

Thursday Sunshine.... Sure to put a smile on these furry faces..

(Left) Erin discovered recently, while playing with Luz, (dark tabby) that this little kitty absolutely loves being held upside down.... Luz's mother confirmed it... This girl may have a new little sister to play with at home soon....

(Left) Trema (caramel/brown tabby) and his brother Apostrophe, went home this week... It was their first time visiting us... From their first day in, they acted as if they'd been visiting us weekly for the last 2 years.... very adaptable little ones...

(Left) Our cutie Manon (white with dark tabby patches) has been spotted touring around the room in the 'spaceship' again.... This is another girl that likes to see what's going on...

(Left) Tess (dark tabby) was photographed all curled up and relaxing next to one of my Selenite stones... This stone has a very high energetic vibration that is great at calming a room and encouraging a peaceful environment.... I have a few large Selenite stones at the kennel... They help stressed or nervous animals to integrate and relax quickly. They work well for people too..

(Left) Diablo (grey Abysinian) entertains BigBird2.... The cats & BigBird each take turns showing off for each other... It's all in good fun... BigBird2 told me years ago, when I asked him what his job was, that he entertains the cats... If I asked him now, I'm sure he'd tell me that they do their fair share too...
